Clear answers before you connect a shop
Is SmashOrder an official Etsy product?
No. SmashOrder is an independent application that uses Etsy’s API. It is not endorsed, certified or operated by Etsy, Inc.
Does SmashOrder receive my Etsy password?
No. A shop owner signs in on Etsy’s official consent screen and chooses whether to grant access. SmashOrder never asks for or stores an Etsy password.
Can I connect more than one Etsy shop?
Yes. Every shop must be independently authorised by its owner or an authorised operator. Connected shops remain inside that seller organisation’s workspace.
Will SmashOrder publish listings or submit tracking automatically?
No. Listing publication and fulfilment submission are review steps controlled by an authorised user. SmashOrder prepares the information and requires an explicit confirmation.
Who can see buyer delivery information?
Buyer information is limited to fulfilment use and protected by organisation membership and role controls. Finance-only access does not need full delivery details.
How do I disconnect a shop or delete my data?
A shop connection can be revoked and an account holder can request deletion through the published data-deletion process. Support can help with either request.
